Global VP of Institutional Relations, Embraer
José Serrador is Vice President of Institutional Relations of Embraer S/A. In this role, he is dedicated to support Embraer global businesses, in all public policy and international trade policy agendas.
Serrador joined Embraer in 2000 and is currently responsible for the company's global institutional engagement and for trade policy matters with international economic organizations, such as the WTO, OECD, the BRICS countries. Furthermore, he represents Embraer in various business associations, councils and think tanks, in Brazil and abroad.
José Serrador Neto holds a bachelor’s degree in production engineering from PUC-RJ and a postgraduate degree in International Trade Law and Economics from FGV-SP. His professional career also included positions as Government Relations at Xerox in Brazil, Arthur Andersen Business Consulting, and several publications on International Trade.
In 2008, Serrador was appointed Brazilian representative at the Global Leadership Seminar by the University of Georgetown (Washington, D.C.) and awarded with the Order of Aeronautical Merit by the Brazilian Air Force (2013, Brasilia), the Order of Barão de Mauá by the Government of Brazil (2018, Brasília) and the Order of Rio Branco by Brazil´s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (2021, Brasília). Since 2021, Serrador is the President of the Brazilian Section of the Brazil - US Business Council.
